Internal Coach Education Awards

Level One, Coach Education Awards

The Welsh Football Trust provide over 200 Foundation (Level 1) coach education awards for clubs, coaches and volunteers to access across Wales on an annual basis, with over 5,000 opportunities to attend our ever growing and popular awards.

As the demand continues to grow within our sport and numbers continue to increase within our player development and coach education pathway, we are increasingly aware of the need for awards to be more flexible and suited to the needs and demands of the game's thousands of dedicated volunteers and coaches.

In January 2016, www.fawcourses.com was launched to provide further flexibility and opportunities for candidates to attend our awards via our new online coach education platform: with this we expect the demand for additional courses to continue to grow and we have acted by including further Saturday, mid-week and daytime awards to go with our Sunday dates on the recent coach education calendar.

To ensure further flexibility within our delivery, specifically around the venue and location of the awards we are now openly providing clubs and organisations with the opportunity to deliver internal coach education awards within your own designated facility, the awards we are able to provide are:

- FAW Football Leaders Award,
- FAW Safeguarding Award,
- FAW First Aid in Football Awareness,
- FAW Goalkeepers Award,
- FAW Coaching Footballers with a Disability,
- And our FAW Introduction to Futsal Award.
